"We love because He first loved us"  - 1 John 4.9

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It has now been more than three months since I assumed the post of the Vicar of St Paul’s Church.  My family and I have been touched by the warm reception that we have experienced.  It is great to be part of the family of believers at St Paul’s Church.

In turn I wish to extend a warm welcome to you to St Paul's Church. There is a place here for everyone, whether young or old, single or married, believer or seeker.  There are many exciting changes taking place and I hope you will be a part of what God is doing here with His children.

We are restructuring the activities of the Church to reach out and meet the needs of the whole family.  The Genesis Kidz and the Genesis Youth Ministries reach out to the young people in our congregations.  The Glow Ministry is to get the women together to encourage one another in the faith.  The Class 92.4 brings together the seniors to enjoy fellowship and support one another.   The Centre for Biblical Studies continues every Saturday from 2.30pm to 4.30 pm, with the goal of grounding each one of us firmly in the Word of God.   In the second half of the year we will be reviving the Cell Group Ministry.  The aim will be for each and every member to be part of a more intimate fellowship of believers who will encourage, watch over, and build up each other in the faith.

In May 2014 we will combine the two English Language services on Sunday into one service from 9.00 am to 11.00 am.  The Chinese Congregation will have their services starting at 9.00 am and 11.30 am on Sundays.  The Tamil congregation will meet at 11.30 am on Sundays.   Please continue to explore this website for more information about our programmes.

On 27 April 2014, we will hold the Annual General Meeting.  There will be a combined service of all the congregations from 8.30 am to 10.30 am, and this will be followed by the AGM.  Over the last few weeks, we have been calling on parishioners to renew their membership on the Electoral Roll.  We continue to reach out to those who have yet to do so, in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution of the Synod of the Diocese of Singapore, to do so.  You can call the Church Office at 62851500 if you have any queries.

It is my vision to see St Paul’s as a wonderful and loving family of Christ’s children, whose love for the things of God and for His people, will be a make it an aroma of Christ that will attract many others to it.  We continue to know and project God's love and to help everyone discover for themselves how each can exercise his or her God given gifts and talents in the service of Christ

During this Easter season, it is my prayer that you will come to know how blessed and loved you are by our Heavenly Father, who without hesitation, sent His Beloved Son to the cross so that we might know the forgiveness of our sins and have eternal life.

I wish you and your loved ones every blessing in Christ's everlasting love.
